With these images, Sergio Riccio becomes the narrator of a story that, probing every nook and cranny and every stone, recounts the life of the architectural complex of Santa Caterina da Siena, Mario Gioffredo’s masterpiece that has been home to the Pietà de’ Turchini Foundation for over 25 years, through the atmospheres that have gradually settled in, from the ancient sacred use of cloistered music to the enjoyment of that music in prestigious concerts today.
The eighteenth-century baroque signs, friezes and embroideries redesigned by light, are also mystery signs that recall the spirituality breathed by Gioffredo and the Neapolitan intellectual milieu in the 1970s.
